In Genesis 14:12-24, Lot, Abram’s nephew, was taken captive along with his possessions. A person who escaped brought the news to Abram. Abram gathered 318 trained men from his household and pursued the captors. The passage also names allies who accompanied him.
Abram divided his forces and attacked by night. He recovered Lot, the other people, and the goods. These coloring sheets focus on the people and the safe return rather than showing combat. Afterward, Melchizedek, king of Salem and priest of God Most High, brought bread and wine and blessed Abram. Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
This is a shortened summary in our own words. Use the Bible passage for the complete account, and the main Abram Rescues Lot article for a longer family reading.
Lay out the six sheets and ask your child which moment they would like to color. Use crayons or colored pencils for the robes, tents, hills, and nighttime sky. After coloring, put the pages in story order.
Every design has its own A4 portrait PDF. The complete PDF contains all six designs in order. The ZIP contains the individual PDFs and the same complete pack, so it does not add extra designs.
Choose A4 portrait in your print settings. For US Letter, choose Fit to page and check the preview. The WebP images are lightweight screen previews; use the PDFs for printing.
Lot is shown as an adult, because he is Abram’s grown nephew in this story. The helpers shown in the pictures represent a much larger group; the artwork does not attempt to show all 318 household men. Clothing, tents, belongings, the moon, and the reunion poses are artistic interpretations. The Bible describes a nighttime attack; the third picture uses a quiet journey scene to introduce that part of the account without illustrating violence.
Melchizedek’s bread and wine are described in Genesis 14:18. The jug, cup, table, and loaf shape are illustrative choices. Read the passage and talk about rescue, generosity, and giving God praise.
