Read the word list first, then search one word at a time. Talk about the Bible story as you find familiar names and words. The easy setting uses fewer words and larger letters; choose by reading confidence rather than age alone.
How do the difficulty settings work?
Easy has a 10 × 10 grid with up to 8 words across or down. Medium has a 14 × 14 grid with up to 12 words and adds downward diagonals. Hard has an 18 × 18 grid with up to 18 words in all directions, including backwards. Bible themes add more words at each level.
Can I use my own spelling words?
Yes. Enter words separated by commas or new lines, using English letters A–Z. A word needs at least two letters and must fit the chosen grid. Spaces, apostrophes and hyphens are removed in the grid and printed list, so “Holy Spirit” becomes HOLYSPIRIT. Duplicate entries count once. Custom word lists are not checked for biblical accuracy.
Does the answer key match my puzzle?
Yes. The PDF uses the puzzle shown in the preview. Keep “Include a separate answer-key page” selected for a second page with the word paths highlighted. “Make a different puzzle” rearranges the words; after changing it, download the new PDF. Occasionally a word may also occur elsewhere among the filler letters; the key shows a valid location for each word.
What gets downloaded or saved?
The puzzle is made on your device. The maker does not upload or save your title or word list, and those entries clear on refresh or when you leave. The downloaded PDF contains the words you entered. Filenames include parableprintables.com and do not include personal titles or custom words.
