About these coloring pages
Read and color together
These coloring designs are for children and families to share while reading Luke 15:3-7. Read the parable together and notice the shepherd’s search, the sheep being found and the joy that follows. The small pictured flock is illustrative rather than a literal count of all the sheep. Jesus connects this joy with repentance in Luke 15:7.
Talk about the pictures
What does the shepherd do when he finds the sheep? Younger children can choose one scene, while older children may enjoy retelling the story with several pictures.
